Loon Lake!

Second post! I am surprised I am already posting again. It probably helps that I actually have something to blog about. This past week we went camping! Jordan's whole family was there minus his brother Kamron who is serving in Russia. It was crazy and busy and there was a TON of crying! But it was so much fun! I don't think I have ever camped when there were kids around (except for when I was a kid) but, it was quite entertaining...probably not so much for the parents though haha. There was an armada of mosquitos every night that were absolutely relentless and unmerciful to the poor little kids faces. I only got burned once and it wasn't that bad. I spent most of my time trying to get my porcelain white skinned husband to put on sunscreen so the last time we went in the water I forgot to put some on myself. I also learned how to wakeboard! It was so much fun. Pretty much its snowboarding but on the water. Once I figured out how to get up and hold on to the rope, I did pretty well. It only took about 6 tries before I successfully got up. I got some lovely bruises on my legs from where the water beat me for trying to be brave and do something other than just hang on to the rope. Jordan is great at wakeboarding and wakeskating. It was so much fun watching him do tricks and look like a boss. The day we came home I was sore and tired and had a cold (due to holding sick babies). I do not regret going though because I had a great time, got unplugged from technology, and got to know my new family better! ADVENTURE IS THE BEST!

Here are some pictures from our trip!

The Beginning

Well, here we go... me trying to blog. This may not work but I am going to try to have fun with it.

I must say that I am LOVING being married! I feel if I go into much detail I will make many of you sick to the point of throwing up rainbows and fairies. Nevertheless Jordan is great and sometimes kind of a stinker. But then again so am I (Mwahahaha). We are discovering things about each other and learning to work together and live together and it is quite an adventure! I can hardly believe that its only been three weeks, it already feels like its been a long time!

OREGON!

We are currently residing in Oregon until school starts! I must say I LOVE this place! Its a huge improvement over the dusty, dry, sweltering, polluted, Utah. Oregon is lush and green, humid and fresh. I have seen so many trees, and its wonderful to see how lovely they are!

Day to day life is pretty normal. Jordan works for his brother-in-law at the SEO company. He sometimes gets distracted... I have no idea how ;) I don't have a job, however I did clean a house for my father-in-law's work and that took up about 10 hours of my time. Jordan's family is all in town right now and it has been a bundle of fun. Its nice having some tiny little active subjects for my figure drawing. I get lots of pose practice. Jordan's parents have been very kind in letting us stay here and its really chill. I can certainly dig it.

That's pretty much it! We shall see if I actually post again anytime soon!
